Absent with notification:  Rose Fitzgerald Casey, RFC; Dick Ferren, DF
Staff present: Peggy Ammendola, PA

Kennedy Park Committee for property known as Kennedy Park, RDA, West Dugway Rd., Map 22 Parcel 21, performance maintenance improvements to an existing +/- 6 foot wide pedestrian foot trail. Continued from November 3, 2011 and December 1, 2011. The continuations were due to the fact that NHESP had not commented on this RDA.  Prior to tonight’s meeting, the applicants stated that they have since heard from NHESP and they are requiring a review through a direct filing with the NHESP for compliance with the MESA.  VA made a motion to continue to March 15, 2012 and JS seconded the motion.  The Commission voted to approve 5-0.

Town of Lenox, RDA filed by Lenox Department of Public Works for property located at Kemble Street, Schermerhorn Park, Walker Street & Housatonic Street. The proposed Buffer Zone work includes modification to the existing Town sewer system.

NC, VA, TF and Marc Levasseur of Foresight Land Services went to the sites on January 13, 2012.
  
Presenting the RDA was Marc Levasseur of Foresight Land Services and Jeff Vincent, Superintendent of the Department of Public Works.

Mr. Levasseur reviewed the plans and answered the questions of the Commissioners.

TF made a motion to issue a Negative 3 Determination and DL seconded the motion.  The Commission voted to approve 5-0.
        
Approve Minutes:
        January 5, 2012-JS made a motion to approve the minutes as corrected.   TF seconded the motion and the Commission voted 5-0 to approve.  

Other business:
  • Kennedy Park Overlook-Review by the Commissioners of the Special Conditions to be attached to the Order of Conditions for Kennedy Park Overlook NOI (SMA) Dr. Jordon Feldman Memorial, File number
2011-1. VA made a motion to approve the Special Conditions and DL seconded the motion.  The Commission voted to approve 5-0.

  • Laurel Lake Preservation Association-At the request of the Board of Selectmen, the Conservation Commission attended the January 18, 2012 BOS meeting to provide an update relative to the existing Order of Conditions.  Commissioners who attended were NC, TF, DF and VA.
